![]() Family Restoration Services is a non-profit organisation whose main concern is to bring wholeness, healing and restoration to the lives of children and families. The organisation runs a comprehensive community development programme in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth, including the Asibavikele & Isolabantwana programmes which aim at identifying HIV/AIDS victims and children that are orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected. The Thamsanqa Foster-homes Project provides the safety of a home environment to these orphaned and vulnerable children. Every child is placed within a nurturing family where he/she is loved, respected and cared for. The children receive assistance with academic challenges and take part in after-school activities. Moreover the children are taught valuable life-skills and receive therapeutic sessions when needed. FRS has embarked on a nationally driven initiative called The Ultimate Goal where soccer is used as the medium to teach life skills and values such as perseverance, self-confidence, team-spirit, honesty, consideration, compassion, courage, initiative, endurance etc. As you can imagine, running these projects in an underprivileged area requires time and funding and therefore we would like to offer you the opportunity to partnership with us by making a monthly or once-off donation to FRS. Please visit our Donations page if you would like to help. With the implementation of these projects you can be part of uplifting a disadvantaged community and ultimately, South Africa. With appreciation TIA WESSELS (Director) |
